Do you have a girl between the ages of 5 and 12 who struggles with confidence, self-esteem, or building relationships? Does she have a hard time making friends or experience challenges with behavior at school?
Kids at Play Family Center is excited to introduce The KAPFC Girls Collective, a program designed to help girls build healthy friendships, develop leadership skills, boost self-esteem, and learn positive ways to resolve conflict. Kids at Play Family Center (KAPFC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. The mission of Kids at Play Family Center is to provide a supportive and inclusive space for families by combining collaborative spaces, childcare, and mental health support. We strive to empower families to achieve a healthy work-life balance, promote mental wellness for families, foster child development, and build strong, meaningful partnerships within our community.
Our program will focus on a variety of activities designed to build essential skills, including group and individual activities, team building, creative expression, homework assignments, projects, and outings. These experiences will help empower the girls while fostering personal growth and development.
We will be offering sessions on both the West Side in Berea and the East Side in Oakwood Village to make the program accessible to more families. For reference, both locations are in Cuyahoga County.
